I'm thinking about putting together a little list of phone and tech picks... mostly for people sorta like me (can't think of anyone really close! =P), always on-the-go, traveling and concerned about battery life.

I'm thinking, Top Five Phones and UMPC, and then a secondary longest battery-life devices... I'd trade features and stuff for a 10+ hour talk-time.

I think other business people may want to consider having a cheaper, back-up phone just like that. If some company can create something small and stylish enough, with a focus on insanely long talk and standby... I'd buy two of 'em.

Seems like you got it all there... switch off WiFi, bluetooth, reduce brightness... I'd say those are the biggies. On some phones, making sure your infrared port is off (my phone has one) also saves battery.
